For more than four decades, the Vourderis family has served as the caretakers of the Wonder Wheel, one of Coney Island’s most recognizable attractions. Their story began with family patriarch Deno Vourderis, who fulfilled a promise he made to his wife Lula by purchasing the Wonder Wheel in 1983. Today, Dennis and Steve continue that vision, while the next generation—including sons DJ and Teddy—works alongside them to keep the historic attraction thriving.
