FX 12-Hour Aligners in Brooklyn
Clear Aligners You Wear While You Sleep
At Mizrahi Orthodontics, the FX 12-hour aligner system straightens teeth with clear aligners worn about 12 hours a day, mostly overnight.
Standard aligners need 20 to 22 hours of daily wear. With FX, you can go without aligners for most of your day.
Straighten Your Smile on Your Schedule
The FX 12-hour aligner system uses custom, clear, removable aligners to gently shift your teeth into place, just like other clear aligners. The difference is wear time.
Instead of wearing aligners nearly all day, you wear FX aligners about 12 hours a day, mostly in the evening and while you sleep. That means no aligners at work, at school, or during meals for most of your day.
Why Patients Choose FX
FX is a discreet, comfortable alternative to braces and full-time aligners for patients who want treatment that fits around their day. Here’s what makes it different.
About 12 Hours a Day
Most clear aligners need 20 to 22 hours of daily wear. FX aligners are designed to work in about 12 hours, mostly overnight.
Freedom During the Day
Go to work, school, meetings, and meals without aligners for most of the day. Eat what you love, and brush and floss with ease.
Nearly Invisible
When you do wear them, FX aligners are clear and slip over your teeth like a custom-fitted mouthguard, with no wires or brackets.
Your Smile, Your Plan
Every FX treatment is planned by an orthodontic specialist at Mizrahi Orthodontics and designed for the shape of your teeth.
Your orthodontist will confirm at your free consultation whether FX is a fit for your case.
Your Roadmap to a Straighter Smile
At Mizrahi Orthodontics, we make getting the smile you want as simple as possible. Here’s what to expect on your FX aligner journey:
01
Let’s Talk Smiles
Your journey starts with a free consultation at our Brooklyn office, where our doctors will evaluate your teeth, discuss your goals, and determine if FX aligners are the right choice for you.
We’ll go over treatment options, timelines, and financing details so you know exactly what to expect before getting started.
02
A Digital Preview
Forget the goopy molds. We take photos and digital scans to create a highly accurate 3D image of your teeth. This lets us design a customized treatment plan and preview how your smile will change. Once your plan is final, your custom FX aligners are made.
03
Pick up Your Aligners & Get Started
When your aligners arrive, we’ll make sure they fit perfectly and show you how to wear and care for them. You’ll wear them about 12 hours a day, mostly in the evening and overnight.
04
Swap Aligners & Track Your Progress
You’ll switch to each new set of aligners on the schedule your orthodontist sets, with each set moving your teeth closer to their ideal position. Regular check-ins let us monitor your progress and keep everything on track.
05
Your Big Smile Reveal
Once you finish your final set of aligners, it’s time for the moment you’ve been waiting for—your brand-new smile! Our doctors will evaluate your results to ensure everything looks perfect before moving on to the final step!
06
Lock in Your Results
Your teeth may want to shift back over time, but a custom retainer will keep them in place. We provide 14-karat gold fixed retainers and removable clear retainers to wear at night to ensure that your smile stays incredible for a lifetime!
FX or Invisalign?
At Mizrahi Orthodontics, we offer Invisalign, Spark, and the FX 12-hour aligner system, so you can choose the aligner that fits your life.
All three use clear, removable aligners planned by an orthodontic specialist. The main difference is daily wear time: about 12 hours for FX, compared with 20 to 22 hours for full-time aligners.
Some cases are better suited to full-time aligners or braces. At your free consultation, your orthodontist will recommend the option that best fits your bite and your routine.
